Sew Good

“We pray for these girls that they will know they are loved and valued.”

Sharon: A lady of so (sew) many talents that I randomly just picked one to feature.

Sharon & her husband are our neighbors out of loss. When my grandmother passed away, Sharon & Rick were looking for a house to rent & it turned out to be an answered prayer. You see, our grandmother spoiled us with food. Her great grandchildren knew where she hid the sweets & candy. After her passing, Sharon kept sweets in the same spot so the kids would run in expecting to see their Mamaw, but could at least find the sweets. Now my boys will go to Rick & Sharon’s knowing that they’ll give them sweets AND sodas, even though we’ve asked them not to give it to them. Do Rick & Sharon listen? Nope. But when I see my boys walking in with stuffed pockets I know where they’ve been & what they are trying to hide.

Rick is my go-to when I need a taste tester for what we make for the truck. Most of the time we sell out of all pastries, but if we unexpectedly have one or two left, they always have Rick’s name on them.

I invite you to watch the video, but also see & hear Sharon’s heart behind what she does. And if you’d like to look through your house & donate gently used pillowcases or fabric, you can drop them off any time on the Crafted Jolt truck and we’ll gladly give them to Sharon.

This is a great idea. I will be checking with my grandmother about some fabric and getting in touch with you.
Thank you for being in our community.
